Binance Launched an Investigation into its Newly Listed Altcoin! Offered Reward of Up to $5 Million!

As you may remember, Binance announced over the weekend that it had listed the Solana (SOL)-based mem token called BOME with the seed tag.

Afterwards, there was speculation that an investor knew about the Binance listing. Because a whale bought $ 2.3 million of SOL on Binance the day before the Binance listing and later used them to buy 314 million BOME from his off-exchange wallet at a price of $ 0.0074.

While the “BOME insider trading” incident was being discussed after this movement of the whale, a statement came from Binance about the incident.

Binance stated that “Binance became aware of the controversy surrounding the BOME insider trading” incident and immediately launched an internal investigation.

Stating that the incident of the investigation has nothing to do with Binance personnel, Binance said that it will give a reward between 100,000 and 5 million USD to the person who uncovers this incident.

“We have recently noticed discussions in the community about Binance's so-called “BOME insider trading” incident. We take this information very seriously and immediately initiated an internal investigation based on relevant leads.

According to our preliminary research results, the person mentioned in the relevant information does not have any connection with Binance.

We sincerely appreciate everyone's continued interest and monitoring of Binance. The community's suggestions are very important to us, so we promise to continue to investigate thoroughly to ensure transparency and fairness of the facts.

“If you have any information regarding currency listing and other corruption and we confirm that Binance team members are corrupt, we will anonymously offer you a reward of between US$100,000 and US$5 million.”

BOME continues to trade at $0.015 at the time of writing.
