The President of Kyrgyzstan announced that he has formed a strategic partnership with Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) to accelerate the development of the country’s cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem, with CZ being appointed as an advisor.

The National Investment Agency, which operates under the presidency, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Zhao, outlining plans for technological and infrastructural development, professional consulting and blockchain education initiatives in Kyrgyzstan.
Under this agreement, Kyrgyzstan aims to leverage blockchain technology to increase financial inclusion, modernize its digital infrastructure, and position itself as a regional hub for crypto innovation.
Training programmes will also be launched to train local talent on blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies.
This partnership marks a significant step in Kyrgyzstan’s approach to digital finance and aligns with a broader global trend of governments working with private crypto industry leaders to promote innovation and regulatory clarity.
