Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, continues to make altcoin announcements. This time, Binance stated that it has added nine more altcoins to its watchlist.
Binance announced it will expand its Tracking Tag to include the following altcoins: Contentos (COS), Dego Finance (DEGO), Ampleforth Governance Token (FORTH), FUNToken (FUN), Hooked Protocol (HOOK), Loopring (LRC), MOBOX (MBOX), Orchid (OXT), and Dogwifhat (WIF).
The exchange also announced that it has removed the tracking tag for Flow (FLOW); and the seed tag for Ondo (ONDO) and Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL).
“Based on recent assessments, Binance will expand the Tracking Tag to include more tokens and will remove the Tracking Tag and Seed Tag for select tokens on March 6, 2026.”
The following altcoins will be added to the Watch Tag list: COS, DEGO, FORTH, FUN, HOOK, LRC, MBOX, OXT, and WIFI.
The altcoin to be removed from the Tracking Tag list is: FLOW
The following altcoins will be removed from the Seed Tag list: ONDO, VIRTUAL
Binance recently issued a warning to investors: “Tokens with a Watch Tag exhibit significantly higher volatility and risk compared to other listed tokens. These tokens are closely monitored and regularly reviewed. Please note that tokens with a Watch Tag risk no longer meeting our listing criteria and being delisted from the platform.”
