The race for the US Presidential elections, which will take place in November 2024, continues at full speed.
While cryptocurrencies come to the fore in this election process, unlike other elections, crypto statements are coming from presidential candidates Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
At this point, while Trump was making a statement of full support for Bitcoin (BTC) and cryptocurrencies, Joe Biden was making opposing statements about crypto.
However, Biden's attitude towards crypto has also begun to change. Biden is seeking guidance on crypto policy and has begun reaching out to crypto industry leaders.
As part of the crypto push, the election team contacted many cryptocurrency experts, including some industry players previously rejected by Biden, a source told The Block.
According to the source, Biden asked experts for guidance on “the crypto community and crypto policy moving forward.”
Stating that Biden's crypto exchange started about two weeks ago, the source said that Biden's admission that crypto had a significant impact on the presidential race played a role in his turning to crypto.
