While Ethereum (ETH) co-founder Vitalik Buterin invests in various altcoin and cryptocurrency projects, some of them succeed and some fail.
At this point, Nocturne, the privacy protocol in which Buterin invested, announced in their announcement that they would close the company and gradually cease their activities.
The company stated that withdrawals will remain open until the end of the month.

We decided to shut down the company after shutting down the privacy protocol we established early last year.
Frontend nocturne. xyz will remain available for withdrawals until the end of this month.”
What is Nocturne Labs?
The Nocturne Labs platform, based in the USA, was working to enable users in the Ethereum ecosystem to trade anonymously. Users could deposit and withdraw money to their Nocturne accounts.
In October 2023, Nocturne Labs had raised $6 million in a seed round led by Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Bain Capital Crypto and Polychain Capital.
