Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, started the day with altcoin announcements.
At this point, Binance announced that the “vote to delist” vote has ended and published the results of the first community vote. Accordingly, Binance announced that 14 altcoins will be delisted on April 16.
According to the first voting result, the following altcoins were included in the delist: “BADGER, BAL, BETA, CREAM, CTXC, ELF, FIRO, HARD, NULS, PROS, SNT, TROY, UFT and VIDT”
“Following receipt of the Delisting Vote results and completion of the standard delisting due diligence process, Binance will delist BADGER, BAL, BETA, CREAM, CTXC, ELF, FIRO, HARD, NULS, PROS, SNT, TROY, UFT, and VIDT on 2025-04-16.
The altcoins in question were selected for delisting based on a comprehensive evaluation of multiple factors.”
Binance also added that altcoins that were not selected to be delisted as a result of the first vote may be delisted at a later date if they do not meet the listing criteria.
Following the Delist announcement, almost all altcoins experienced major declines.
