Anticipated Altcoin Project Announces Airdrop Distribution: They Gave the Final Date

Hamster Kombat, one of the most popular games on Telegram, announced the launch of the HMSTR token on The Open Network (TON) on September 26, along with an airdrop for its players.

The game claims to have amassed more than 300 million players since its launch this spring.

The HMSTR token was initially scheduled to be released in July, but the airdrop was postponed. In fact, Hamster Kombat is a simple project based on the basic tap-to-win game popularized on Telegram earlier this year with the Notcoin game.

Notcoin paved the way for such games by attracting 35 million players and launching one of the most successful gaming tokens of the year.

This news comes on the heels of a significant network outage experienced by TON the previous day, which was attributed to network congestion caused by the token launch for another cryptocurrency project called DOGS. A TON representative confirmed that the network issues have since been resolved and operations are back to normal.

However, recently, Telegram founder Pavel Durov, who was actually behind the Toncoin ecosystem, was detained in France.
