Lagrange Labs, which develops ZK (Zero-Knowledge) technologies, announced that airdrop registrations for its new token LA will be open between May 28 and June 2, 2025.
LA token is designed as a utility token to be used for payment of ZK proof fees and collateral transactions. The initial airdrop will constitute 10% of the total supply.
To participate in the airdrop, users must have previously participated in the game “Turing Roulette” and completed identity and uniqueness verification. The project, developed on the EigenLayer infrastructure, aims to promote the economic model of the proof-of-stake ecosystem through the LA token.
Lagrange Labs completed a $13.2 million investment round led by Founders Fund, founded by Peter Thiel, on May 8, 2024. Major funds such as Archetype Ventures, 1kx, Maven11, Fenbushi Capital, Volt Capital, CMT Digital, Mantle and Ecosystem also participated in the investment round.
The network will also have a fixed 4% annual token supply. This supply will be distributed to proof producers (provers) based on the amount of LA staked or delegated. This will subsidize a portion of the proof production costs and allow users to direct economic priorities by delegating more tokens to specific subnets.
