The ETF craze started by BlackRock in June has grown and resulted in many companies applying for spot Bitcoin ETFs.
One of these companies was Invesco, a global investment management company.
The company, which has $1.49 trillion under management, re-applied for a spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) on June 21.
Invesco has now filed for a spot Ethereum ETF.
Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart wrote in his post that Invesco and Galaxy have applied for spot ETF.
“Invesco and Galaxy filed 19b-4 for spot Ethereum ETFs through the CBOE.
The deadline here is unknown for now, but it is likely to be around the first week of July.”
Apart from Invesco, ARK Invest also applied for Ethereum Spot ETF. ARK Invest had partnered with 21Shares, a leading ETF provider, to launch the spot Ethereum ETF.
