According to Bloomberg, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), the world's largest investment company, invested $100 million in cryptocurrency startup EigenLayer.
Andreessen Horowitz has invested in many cryptocurrency companies, from Web3 to Metaverse to decentralized finance.
Speaking to Bloomberg, EigenLayer founder Sreeram Kannan officially announced the investment.
The founder of EigenLayer stated that only Andreessen Horowitz company was involved in the investment round.
While EgenLayer was a project that attracted serious interest from investors, investors' airdrop expectations were dashed. Because EigenLayer founder Kannan stated that they have no plans to issue a token at the moment.
