In a recent analysis by Layergg, Cosmos Chain was identified as the best performing project among 100 cryptocurrency projects evaluated.
The Cosmos ecosystem has seen significant gains, with Injective, Thorchain, and Kujira posting 30-day gains of 130%, 110%, and 300% respectively.
According to Layergg analysts, many new cryptocurrencies have also been added to the Cosmos ecosystem:
- Neutron (NTRN) was launched on June 14, 2023 and received a $10 million investment from Binance Labs. Neutron, the first Replica Security consumer chain, introduced the first Celestia Rollup Bridge and recently launched its Grants Program.
- Celestia (TIA) was launched on November 1, 2023 and received $56.5 million investment from Binance Labs & Polychain. Celestia, the first modular blockchain, is tightly aligned with the Ethereum Roadmap (EIP & ERC).
- Sei Network (SEI) was launched on August 15, 2023 and received $35 million in investment from Coinbase & Multichain. The Sei Network mainnet has processed twice as many blocks as Ethereum in its entire history. It is also the only project listed on Upbit's KRW marketplace.
- Cosmos (ATOM) continues to serve as the Base Currency of the Inter-Blockchain Communication Ecosystem (IBC). ATOM's use with Replica Security-enabled NTRN and STRD further strengthened its position.
According to analysts, the 'New Coin' trend is defined by a feeling of optimism, a lack of long-term investors and a team that is still not rich and therefore incentivized to live up to the hype. This trend is currently fueled by Celestia.
