Important statements about the crypto money market came from Roger Ver, one of the early supporters of Bitcoin and the founder of Bitcoin Cash.
Roger Ver, known by the nickname "Bitcoin Jesus", argued in the podcast "Show Me The Crypto" that Ethereum will be a pioneer in global crypto adoption.
Stating that ETH, not Bitcoin, at the global acceptance point, will lead new investors to crypto, Roger Ver said:
“Although Ethereum may not have the largest market cap compared to Bitcoin, I think Ethereum is leading in terms of worldwide adoption.”
While praising the rise of Ethereum Virtual Machine compatible (EVM) blockchains and layer-2 scaling solutions like Polygon, Roger Ver said that these are helping the network by taking some of the load off the ETH mainnet.
“In many ways, Vitalik Buterin is to be thanked because disagreements over smart contracts drove Vitalik Buterin to develop Ethereum.
All smart contracts would have been built on top of Bitcoin had it not been for a war between Bitcoin core developers and Buterin.
This is why Bitcoin core developers hate Vitalik.
But I would like to congratulate Buterin for creating Ethereum.
In fact, it is not enough to just congratulate. We should also thank him for making the world a better place and even taking humanity one step further."
