A new report has revealed the top 10 altcoins with the most developer activity on Github in the past week and day.
The report shows that Polkadot / Kusama, Cardano and Status are the most active projects in terms of code entries, code pull requests and code counts.
Polkadot / Kusama, a network of interoperable blockchains, topped the weekly list with 518 events, followed by smart contract platform Cardano with 509 events. Status, a decentralized messaging and social network, ranked third with 412 events.
Other projects in the weekly top 10 were ChainLink (403), Hedera (369), Internet Computer (276), Cosmos (266), Osmosis (251), Vega Protocol (248), and Decentraland (245).
While the daily chart presented a different picture, NEM, a platform for enterprise solutions, took the lead with 248 events. Zus took second place with 188 events. Status retained its third place with 137 events.
The rest of the daily top 10 were Polkadot/Kusama (117), Osmosis (97), Radix (88), Optimism (88), Internet Computer (81) and Vega Protocol (80).
GitHub data also reflects the popularity and adoption of these altcoins among the cryptocurrency community and investors.
