Emirates, one of the world's largest airlines, has also stepped into the cryptocurrency sector and announced its new agreement.
Airline giant Emirates has signed a preliminary agreement with the Crypto.com exchange for crypto payments, according to the statement.
According to Reuters, the two have reached an agreement in principle and signed a preliminary agreement for crypto payments.
Emirates also announced that it will accept Bitcoin (BTC) and cryptocurrencies as payment on flights.

Emirates has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with cryptocom to accept Bitcoin and crypto payments.
Under this agreement, BTC and crypto will be used for Ticket purchases.
“This is part of a plan to make the UAE a global hub for crypto adoption,” Emirates Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Adnan Kazim said in a statement. “The partnership is expected to come into effect next year. With this partnership, we aim to reach younger, tech-savvy customer segments who prefer digital currencies.”
