While Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies play a critical role in the US elections, President Joe Biden continues his anti-crypto rhetoric.
In contrast, presidential candidate Donald Trump draws attention with his pro-crypto statements.
While Donald Trump was accepting cryptocurrency donations in his election campaign, another senator joined Trump.
At this point, senator Marsha Blackburn announced that she accepts donations in crypto currencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Marsha Blackburn's election campaign is accepting cryptocurrency donations through Bitpay, according to its donation page.
Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE) and Litecoin (LTC) are accepted within the scope of the campaign.
“Our campaign is committed to meeting supporters where they are.
“As a growing number of Americans use digital currencies for daily transactions, we are excited to begin accepting cryptocurrency donations!”
Senator Blackburn is also expected to show his support for Bitcoin once again by speaking at the Bitcoin 2024 Conference in Nashville at the end of the month.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump also announced in May that he started accepting cryptocurrency donations.
