A solo Bitcoin miner with a hash rate of around 1 petahash per second (PH/s) has successfully mined a block reward of 6.25 Bitcoin (BTC), which is worth over $160,000 at the current market price.
This is rare, as such a small miner can single-handedly solve a block on average every seven years at the current difficulty level. It was also worth noting that the reward was obtained when the mining difficulty was almost at an all-time high of 52.39.
The solo miner who won the block reward did not reveal his identity or location. However, considering that the electricity cost required to obtain 1 Bitcoin by mining alone is approximately 22,000 dollars in Turkey and 46,000 dollars in the USA, this mining operation must be done in regions with low electricity costs in order to be profitable.

However, BTC mining may still not be efficient due to the infrastructure problems in these countries and the lack of continuity of electricity supply. Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao shared BTC mining cost data in these low-cost countries and said that it is natural for people in these regions to mine BTC.
