Tron founder Justin Sun has made another change to his position on the Ethereum staking platform Lido. According to data from on-chain analyst ai_9684xtpa, Sun unstakes another 5,000 ETH from Lido.

With this latest transaction, the total amount of Ethereum Sun has unstakes via Lido since August 26th has reached 10,000 ETH. Following these transactions, Sun still holds approximately 238,000 stETH in his on-chain assets.

The current market value of these stETH assets is estimated to be approximately $594 million. Thus, Justin Sun remains one of the largest individual on-chain investors in the Ethereum ecosystem.

Lido operates as a decentralized staking protocol on the Ethereum network, allowing users to stake their ETH holdings. When users stake ETH through the platform, they receive stETH in return. This token represents the staked ETH as well as the staking returns earned.

Sun’s recent transactions have attracted the attention of market participants closely monitoring the Ethereum staking positions of large investors. Unstake transactions from Lido are significant in terms of allowing the relevant ETH assets to be reused or redirected to different investment strategies.

However, an investor reducing their staking position doesn’t automatically mean they’re selling. Unless the unstaken ETH is sent to exchanges or sold, the transaction cannot be said to directly create selling pressure in the market.

Sun’s current position of 238,000 stETH stands out as one of the significant individual holdings in the Ethereum staking market. Investors are expected to monitor new transfers and unstake transactions that may occur from Sun’s wallets in the coming period.
