Michael Saylor, founder of the largest institutional bull strategy, made important statements about Bitcoin (BTC).
Michael Saylor, who has recently been in the news for his statements about selling Bitcoin, predicts that Bitcoin will rise by an average of 30% annually over the next 20 years.
Speaking to CoinDesk, Saylor argues that Bitcoin will continue to rise over the years. According to Saylor, Bitcoin will increase by an average of 30% annually over the next 20 years.
Michael Saylor’s latest prediction is based on and reflects his confidence in Bitcoin’s scarcity model. BTC’s maximum supply is limited to 21 million coins. Unlike fiat currencies, central banks cannot print more BTC during economic crises, and Saylor believes this fixed supply creates strong long-term value appreciation for the BTC price.
Saylor also revealed plans to establish a “Bitcoin capital gains fund.” He stated that the fund is designed to pay investors based on Bitcoin’s price increase and would operate similarly to dividends.
According to Saylor, this fund would provide investors with regular cash returns tied to price increases in Bitcoin, instead of simply holding onto it.
Saylor also addressed concerns in the market regarding the possibility of Strategy selling its BTC holdings, stating that for every BTC sold, the company would buy an additional 10 to 20 BTC.
