A new development has raised security concerns in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Blockchain security company Blockaid announced the detection of a potential “frontend attack” on the decentralized exchange CoW Swap.
Blockaid announced that the “CowFi” domain, the platform’s official website, has been flagged as malicious. The company noted that such attacks could target the user interface, aiming to conduct unauthorized transactions through wallet connections.
Following the warning, the CoW Swap team also released a statement through official channels. The statement confirmed that there was a problem on the frontend side of the platform and requested that users refrain from using the application until investigations were complete.
Security experts and industry representatives have urged users to take immediate action. They warned that users who have linked their wallets to the platform should cancel their confirmations without delay and avoid any further interaction with the decentralized application.
