An Ethereum whale has emerged from DBS Bank, Singapore's largest bank, which stands out with its positive statements about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
According to data from Nansen, DBS Bank is an ETH whale.
On-chain analysis firm Nansen said that an address belonging to DBS Bank held approximately $650 million worth of ETH.
While Nansen claimed that the address “0x9e927c02c9eadae63f5efb0dd818943c7262fb8e” belonged to DBS, he said that this address held 173,753 ETH (worth $647 million).
“We identified this $650 million ETH whale, which owns 173.7 thousand ETH, as DBS, the largest bank in Singapore with $739 billion in total assets as of December 31, 2023.

Ethereum continues to trade at $3,726 at the time of writing.
