Billionaire venture capitalist Tim Draper made a bold prediction about the future of Bitcoin in a recent interview. The billionaire suggested that BTC could potentially rise dramatically to $10 million.
Draper, an early Bitcoin investor, has a track record of accurate predictions. He correctly predicted that Bitcoin would surpass $10,000 in 2017. Now, he believes Bitcoin's value could reach unprecedented levels, saying: “Now, $250,000 or a million dollars, $2 million or even $10 million are numbers that are likely to happen for a number of reasons.”
According to Draper, the key to Bitcoin's success lies in its widespread adoption. “Once you can buy your food, your clothing, your shelter and pay your taxes with Bitcoin, that's it. You won't want to use any other currency,” Draper said.
Draper's prediction is based on the idea that reaching critical mass adoption will open the doors for exponentially larger entrants chasing the limited supply of Bitcoin. “I would say my number, $250,000, is probably coming very soon… In fact, if it gets to $250,000, I think it's going to go well beyond that,” Draper said.
