Former President Donald Trump's holdings in the TRUMP memecoin have surpassed $1 million, according to cryptocurrency data tracker Arkham.
Trump received an initial $7.1K of TRUMP from the TRUMP memecoin team between August and October 2023. With the subsequent tokens sent, the value of all of these has now skyrocketed to over $1.07 million, marking a staggering 150-fold increase.
However, these tokens were transferred to Trump against his will, meaning these tokens were not purchased by Trump's team.
Most of Trump's TRUMP tokens were acquired shortly after his address was tagged by Arkham on August 16, 2023. At midnight on August 19, 469 thousand TRUMP, worth 5.6 thousand dollars at that time, were transferred to him. Two months later, he received additional TRUMP tokens worth approximately $1,500.
While TRUMP's current value is $1.90, Trump's assets have increased by a staggering 15,000%.
