This increase was driven by Telegram's announcement that it had integrated TON Space, a personal storage crypto wallet for its more than 800 million active users.
Telegram and the TON Foundation announced a new personal storage wallet called TON Space at the Token2049 crypto conference in Singapore on Wednesday.
John Hyman, Telegram's chief investment officer, stated that TON Space will be available to all users of Telegram without the need for any registration as of November and said:
“Telegram's mission has always been to ensure freedom of expression, but in this digital age, expression is so much more.
We believe that users have the right to their own identity and existence.
At this point, with TON Space, users will now have the technology to make this easier.”
TON, which rose to the 11th place according to market value, went up to $ 1.98. However, TON, which experienced some withdrawal afterwards, continues to be traded at $ 1.93 at the time of writing.
