As hacking and fraud incidents in cryptocurrencies continue to increase, a whale also fell victim to scammers.
According to the post by security company PeckShield Alert, a whale fell victim to a phishing attack and lost $ 24.24 million worth of cryptocurrencies.
The stolen cryptocurrencies include 4,851 Rocket Pool ETH (rETH) and 9,579 Lido Staked ETH (stETH).
It is considered that the victim was deceived by the attacker and gave approval to the attackers for rETH and sETH transfer in two separate transactions.
While this incident was one of the largest individual cryptocurrency attacks to date, the attacker converted the stolen rETH and stETH into 13,785 ETH and 1.64 M DAI.
