The expectation is growing that Shibarium, developed as Shiba Inu's (SHIB) layer 2 solution, will be released this week.
Cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin's official X account published an encrypted post on their platform on August 12, featuring a picture of the Shiba Inu dog, the mascot of SHIB.
In KuCoin's post, it was stated that Shibarium is expected to be released on August 15-16, and users were asked to answer if they were excited for the new launch. No official announcement has been made yet, but with this statement made by KuCoin, the future of Shibarium this week has been largely clarified.
However, a post came in response to this from the Shiba Inu official X account. The SHIB official account did not confirm or deny the dates, but humorously asked when the other tokens of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, BONE and LEASH tokens, would be listed on KuCoin.
Shibarium is a highly anticipated project that aims to provide a fast, secure and scalable Tier-2 solution for SHIB and other tokens in the ecosystem. Shibarium will allow users to create and trade private tokens and access decentralized applications (DApps) and smart contracts on the SHIB network.
