SEC Chairman Gary Gensler became the target of many famous names after the war he started against cryptocurrencies.
While Gensler states that all his efforts are about protecting investors, investors think that Gensler does more harm to investors because he does not provide the clarity expected from him.
The final comment on this came from veteran trader and analyst Peter Brandt. Stating that Gensler had failed to protect investors, Brandt described Gensler as a “power-hungry bald man”.
Expressing that Gensler suffered losses due to the bankruptcy of three commodity brokers while he was the CFTC chairman, Brandt accused Gensler of failing to protect himself.
“Let's get one thing clear, Gary Gensler has a history of FAILED in protecting investors.
All professional speculators know this. “Power-hungry bald man.”
I made a loss when three commodity brokers (FCMs) went bankrupt due to fraudulent activities. Gensler was then chairman of the CFTC, the government agency tasked with protecting clients against commodity brokerage firms.
Gensler also played a dubious role in the failure of FTX.
Don't let this little guy tell you anything about his commitment to protecting investors. “
