Binance's futures platform, Binance Futures, has announced that it will list the RAD altcoin.
The new listing will be available with up to 20x leverage on May 10, 2023 at 15:00.
Cryptocurrency Exchange Lists Radicle (RAD) Futures
According to the announcement, Binance may change the characteristics of the RADUSDT perpetual contract from time to time depending on market risk conditions.
These features include trade size, maximum leverage, initial margin and maintenance margin requirements.
RAD is an open-source protocol that enables developers to collaborate in a peer-to-peer (P2P) and decentralized manner.
Similar to centralized coding collaboration platforms like GitHub and GitLab, developers can collaborate to write code and build DApps. For this, Radicle's peer-to-peer software replication protocol called Radicle Link is used.
By offering a perpetual contract for RAD, Binance Futures aims to give investors more options to manage their cryptocurrency portfolios and gain access to the cryptocurrency markets.
Perpetual contracts are a type of derivative contract that allows investors to trade on the future price movements of that asset without owning an underlying asset.
These contracts differ from traditional futures contracts in that they have no expiry dates and are closed daily, which allows traders to hold their positions for as long as they want.
Binance Futures offers perpetual contracts, giving investors a flexible way to manage their cryptocurrency risk and capitalize on market volatility.
However, it is important that traders understand the risks involved and manage their positions carefully to avoid liquidation.
