Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, does not remain indifferent to the social events taking place.
At this point, Binance finally extended a helping hand to citizens affected by the earthquake in Morocco.
Binance Charity announced in a statement that it will distribute up to $3 million BNB to users affected by the earthquake in Morocco.
It was stated that the identification of those who will benefit from the BNB distribution will be made according to the Address Proof completed before September 9, 2023.
Stating that approximately 70,000 Moroccan Binance users who completed Proof of Address before September 9 will be able to receive $100 BNB directly, Binance Charity announced that existing users who completed Proof of Address after September 9 and before September 30 will be able to receive $25 BNB directly.
“In response to the devastation caused by the recent earthquake in Morocco, Binance Charity will distribute up to $3 million in BNB to eligible Binance users.
Identification of users will be based on Proof of Address (POA) completed before September 9, 2023 in Marrakesh-Safi Province. Users who complete the POA in the Marrakech-Safi Province region before this date will each receive $100 in BNB directly to their Binance account.
We understand that many users in the affected area may not have completed POA yet. Therefore, we will send $25 BNB directly to the Binance accounts of existing users who complete POA after September 9, 2023 and before September 30, 2023.
“We will also distribute $10 BNB each to our users who are not in the affected area and are actively trading throughout Morocco.”
Finally, it was stated that BNB airdrop distribution will be delivered to users starting from September 12, 2023.
