Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital, one of the supporters of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, said in an interview at the Davos event that he attended, that the price of Bitcoin may exceed $ 170,000 next year.
Stating that this increase will occur due to the demand for newly listed spot Bitcoin ETFs and the halving event in April, Scaramucci said:
“If Bitcoin is at $45,000 during the halving event, I think it will reach $170,000 between mid and late 2025.
When the halving day comes, multiply the price of BTC by 4. “It will reach that price within 18 months after the halving.”
As you may remember, the famous name predicted in April 2023 that Bitcoin would reach a level between 40,000-50,000 dollars by the end of 2023.
Bitcoin surpassed $48,000 after spot ETFs were approved and opened for trading last week. However, BTC faced great selling pressure and fell to $41,000.
BTC continues to trade at $42,910 at the time of writing.
